Search Rapid Air Instruction Locations Many of our Dealers offer instruction for Rapid Air. We expect this instruction to perhaps be part of a kayak roll class or safety class your local shop normally offers. We also expect this instruction to be performed by ACA certified instructors. Although scuba type certifiction is not required to own, operate and refill Rapid Air, we do recommend a certain level of basic understanding of handling and breathing compressed air underwater. These dealers and instructors will offer this "basic understanding" and demonstrate hands on, the proper use of Rapid Air in a pool practice type format. We suggest having PADI or equivalent certification or experience to receive a full understanding of the proper use, safe handling and the potential hazards when using any compressed air breathing devices underwater.
